Under the Big Top

Rob's firm hosted a circus-themed, family day at the zoo and the Stone family had a blast! It was another skip-my-afternoon-nap kind of day for Owen, but all the distractions were enough to keep it whine free. In fact, he was "on" for the entire day...soaking it all in. Hmm, perhaps it was a sugar high?

Of all the treats, watermelon was BY FAR his favorite. He sat on the steps with me and devoured 4 pieces within minutes. "Hey Mom, this stuff is REEALLY good!"



















There was a great DJ spinning tunes all afternoon and Owen had a big ol' time, dancing and spinning himself silly.

Owen also had his first experiences with a carousel and a petting zoo (the goats and sheep were much less disconcerting).














Excellent, excellent time for us all and our boy was pooped by the end of the day. Thanks to a few dozen pictures and a skilled caricaturist, the day was captured for posterity...sleepy eyes and all.
