A splishin' and a splashin'

Owen is loving the water these days. He has most always enjoyed his bath but now that we have seriously bombarded the tub with toys, he is even more playful at bathtime. The ducky spout cover is his new "friend".

It often seems that bathtime is the time to really goof off...




In fact, our new challenge with bathtime is getting him to sit still long enough to actually get clean!

Owen also recently discovered that new water adventures await him in the POOL! We've only gone to the pool on two occasions. The first was just Mommy and Owen at the YMCA pool. It did NOT go well. Minor (okay, MAJOR) freakout and we had to scoot out of there pretty quickly. If only there had been a way to have photos of that incident.

However, our second pool trip with Daddy was much, much better. Owen loved splashing in the water and giggled almost the entire time.







Hmmm, maybe it's time to talk to Daddy about that pool for the new backyard!
