The playdate of the century!

Yesterday was a glorious day with the mamas! As many of you know, I belong to a group of fellow mommies who have become dear, dear friends and, in many instances, life and sanity-savers. We talk daily (some of us more than others!) and have small group gatherings pretty regularly. Well, yesterday was an all out mama extravaganza! 20 or so moms with probably close to 30 little ones all converged upon one home. It was quite a sight to see. Thank goodness for EXPANSIVE backyards!



Owen hung out with his baby crew. There are 3 other boys, all born within a couple of months of each other. They talked politics, real estate and the price of breastmilk in China.

Adventures are more fun when you have someone to share them with...


And sometimes it's nice to have help from a big kid...


But sometimes, you just need to escape it all...


A fun day with friends! And, he zonked out in the car before I could even get out of the neighborhood.
